How the scores are worked out
Each word is scored with the standard tile values — E and A are 1, K is 5, J and X are 8, Q and Z are 10. A blank tile can stand for any letter but scores nothing, and the tool always uses your real tiles first so the score shown is the best you can get. Premium squares depend on where you play, so they aren't added.
Bingos
Playing all seven tiles from your rack in one turn earns a 50-point bonus, and it's included in the score here. Seven-letter words using common letters like RETAINS are worth learning for exactly this reason.
Building through a letter on the board
Put a letter that's already on the board in the second box and every result will include it. To see every word from your letters regardless of score, the word unscrambler lists them by length.
